As we accelerate our growth, we are seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead revenue
generation, expand our footprint in the media industry, and build strong, lasting customer and
partner relationships.
Job Description
Who we are looking for
Digital Joy is seeking a driven, results-oriented Vice President of Sales to own and scale our
global sales strategy. This role is ideal for a go-getter and self-starter with deep connections in
the media industry, a proven success selling SaaS solutions, and the ability to open doors, close
complex deals, and build long-term revenue streams.
You will be responsible for driving new business, expanding existing accounts, and establishing
strategic partnerships that accelerate growth.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales Leadership:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue
targets.
• Own the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting and pipeline development to contract
negotiation and close.
• Lead a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure
individual and team success.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships that can drive sales,
open new distribution channels, and expand the company’s footprint in the market.
• Establish KPIs and monitor the performance of sales efforts, adjusting approaches as
needed. Use data and feedback to refine the sales funnel and improve conversion rates.
Industry Relationships & Partnership Development:
• Cultivate and nurture strategic partnerships with key media outlets, broadcasters, digital
publishers, technology partners, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative partnership opportunities
that drive mutual value.
• Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with business goals
and objectives.
• Identify new distribution and channel opportunities to expand market reach across the
globe.
Client Engagement & Account Expansion:
• Serve as a senior point of contact for key clients, ensuring strong relationships and longterm retention.
• Represent Digital Joy at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
Deal Structuring & Negotiation:
• Lead pricing discussions, proposal development, and contract negotiations.
• Ensure contracts support scalable, recurring SaaS revenue models.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to align customer feedback and
roadmap priorities.
• Provide market and customer insights to inform product positioning and sales
enablement materials.
Qualifications & Experience
• 10+ years of experience in sales leadership, with a strong focus on SaaS solutions.
• Highly motivated self-starter with a hunter mentality and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Proven success selling into the media, broadcasting, digital content, or related
technology sectors.
• Strong understanding of the media landscape, advertising trends, and digital marketing.
• Established network and relationships within the media industry.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and executive-level communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform strategic decision-making.
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Ability to travel.
